Triton is Neptune´s only sizeable satelite. It is bigger than Pluto but smaller than our moon.
Its sports a nitrogen ice layer on its surface and it is suspected to possess a water mantle, besides having gas and dust spewing geysers throught its surface.
It is the farthest big moon populating the giant planets realm.
