Omega Centauri is the closest globular cluster seen from Earth. It´s got 10 million stars packed together in a spherical formation. These round gas furnaces irradiate such a powerful light, that to the naked eye it looks like a single nearby fuzzy star, but in reality it is distant 17.000 light years from us.
