Mimas circles Saturn at the edge of its outer rings. It has a crater that is always turned in our direction as Mimas perform its synchronous rotation around Saturn. The crater, on the leading edge of the moon, measures 130 kilometers. It is a challeging object to visualize even for the HMIR (Hidden Micro Image Retrieval) technique.
