BURST'S EYE VIEWED - Hourglass Nebula

The Hourglass nebula (MyCN18) is a planetary nebula located deep south in the constelation Musca. It is one of the most difficult objects to find in the night sky due to its 13.9 magnitude and its deceiving camouflage in a brilliant white stellar cocoon (see storyboard).
